May licensee you will retain 100% of your commission, and the commission checks are made out to you, the boss. With annual gross sales of $5MM, at 60/40 split, you give your parent company a minimum of $60,000 of your hard earned commission. In addition you may be required to pay desk and technology fees, as well as to contribute to your advertising budget.
